Madison has held its School deliberative session and its budget hearing, both are increasing. Please pay attention and vote on March 13 and attend the meeting on March 17.. |

The VDOE Annual Meeting and Voting(2/25/2012). The official warrant for 2012 is posted. There are some changes from the amounts at the hearings. The sand & salt items were raised due to the icy conditions this winter and an additional amount was added to the Buildings and ground item for some garage door work. The basic budget is still less than last year. Time for petitions and filing intention to run for office has passed. If you are considering absentee ballots please submit your requests to the VDOE office. Remember to follow the instructions and mail in time to be counted! |

Ron Sandstrom appointed to VDOE Board of Commissioners. At the January 3rd meeting of the Board of Commissioners, Ron Sandstrom was appointed, and sworn in, as commissioner to fill the vacant term of Gloria Aspinall. He will serve in this position until the election of officers at the annual meeting February 25, 2012. |
